Decided Suitable Location

These are the locations that we decided were suitable. This house has clear, easy access and two sides to the house. It also has a conservatory and old windows for the killer to look through and provide good ideas for shots. Inside, there are plenty of areas to sit down with a lot of space to film. The house is also very very old, playing on the convention of an old house equals trouble, evil or general bad things;

Unsuitable Locations

Below are a series of locations that we as a group went around and researched. These in particular were deemed as unsuitable, for reasons such as lack of access to the side of the house or the fact that they were flats or bungalows. Many of these are also inaccessible to us;

The Animatic

This is out final, complete animatic by all of us showing roughly how our film is going to go. This was done on sound track Pro using our storyboard, script and reference to the treatment;

Costume Design (The Killer)

The killer will have to look evil, dark and clearly segregated from the people portrayed as 'good' in the film. First, he will be dressed all in black, with a hood, with face paint or a mask like that out of scream. Below are some possible examples for this convention;

Costume Design (Cast Majority)

In our film, the people having the party in the house will be roughly 18 years of age, so will need to look like typical teenagers, meeting the standard convention as they are going to dress their age. Below is an example of how they should look;

The Script

This is the complete script, written by me and Matt. It contains the characters names and what they are going to be saying, along with sound effects and explanation of what will be happening in the scene itself;

Storyboard

This is our storyboard, it gives a visual representation of what our film is going to look like. It consists of 19 shots with relevant captions to explain what goes on in each one;

The Treatment

This is our treatment, this explains what will happen in our film and is used to create our storyboard and film;

Treatment

Last Woman Standing

There are 5 16/18 year olds (Steph, Sally, Joanne, Brett & Roger) having a drink and get-together at one of their houses, drinking, watching films, darts and other such shenanigans. The house has several cars on the drive, representing the people inside. Shaky POV cam goes past the windows with heavy breathing, climbs through window in a vacant room, see him go through a door. One girl (Sally) leaves the group to go to the toilet, opens the door and the cam switches to the POV of the man crouched on the floor looking up at the girl. The man is then seen opening the door and leaving the toilet, he has scary make-up/mask and behind him, before he shuts the door, there is the girl lying dead covered in blood. He then begins to size up the rest of the housemates. The killer is revealed to the group and scares them to death before leaving, having appeared to massacre them all. One highly incapacitated girl does not follow suit, having hidden in a room, and she begins to realize what has happened, however the killer has got away in one of the cars that was on the drive.

The Film- The rest of the film consists of a typical slasher, however, the last girl decides that their only chance is to act vengeance upon her assailant. However, this becomes harder for them when they realize it is her during an attack they perform on the killer. A struggle ensues as they ponder whether to kill someone who used to be their friend. They decide to escape and inform the police, where Joanne follows but is killed in a freak accident.
